Discovery & Site Analysis
We begin with your brand guidelines, floor plans, and a site visit when possible. We document sight lines, lighting conditions, architectural features, and existing signage. For wayfinding projects, we map circulation paths and identify decision points where signs are needed.
Sign Schedule & Concept Design
We create a sign schedule documenting every sign type, location, and message content. Then we develop 2-3 design concepts that explore different approaches to typography, materials, color, and mounting methods. Each concept includes mockups showing the signs in context.
Design Refinement
Based on your feedback, we refine the chosen direction. We finalize typography, color specifications, material callouts, and dimensional details. For ADA signage, we verify all compliance requirements. For wayfinding, we test the system logic with user journey scenarios.
Production Files & Fabrication
We deliver production-ready files with complete specifications: dimensions, materials, colors (Pantone/RAL), mounting details, and installation locations. If VSL Print is fabricating the signs, files go directly to our production floor for seamless execution.
